My DataFeed Scripts

This script package takes the datafeed from the Shareasale for the Entirely Pets and displays it in a format complete with your links. What it does :

• it displays the categories and the products
• you can modify the font, the colours, the display options
• it utilizes mod rewrites (SE friendly urls)
• it makes use of a jump script ie so that your affiliate link isn’t ‘visible’ in the url
• it allows you to update the datafeed from Shareasale with the click of a link

Requirements :

• your server needs to be able to run php scripts
• your server needs to be clued in to follow htaccess instructions – ie Linux/Apache servers NOT Windows servers

NEW and REVAMPED Netshops datafeed script which allows you to feature ALL or just some of the merchants they have online. This script is a VAST improvement from the last. Features include :

• the ability to feature ALL of Netshops merchants OR just the ones you want
• full templated site – with the ability to alter number of products displayed, whether you want the prices displayed etc.
• search function that allows your visitors to search the Netshops database and display the relevant products
• utilizes a jump script so that the affiliate url is ‘hidden’.
• once the script is up, there is no maintenance because it pulls the dynamic datafeed direct from Netshops

This script pulls scripts from the RSS coupons and deals datafeed from Shareasale. What it does :

• it displays only merchants from that datafeed that you are associated with and dishes out the coupons they have
• you can modify the font, the colours, the display options eg whether or not to display the coupon start and end dates and the number of deals you want displayed in total – the list of merchants in the current feed are listed here

Requirements :

• your server needs to be able to run php scripts
• if you want to display it using server side includes then your server needs to be clued in to follow htaccess instructions

Takes this and converts it to this – the side bar display or this – the webpage display in a table format.

This php script pulls the data straight from the RSS feed that Rockler has for new products. What this script does :

• it codes your affiliate id into the links to Rockler
• it allows you to specify how many items you want listed
• it allows you to change the fonts for text display
• it requires no maintenance on your part ie it downloads the rss feed straight from Rockler and you don’t have to set up databases or tables
• with a simple command in your htaccess file you can plonk it into your webpage

Requirements :

• your server must be able to run php scripts
• if you want to use server side includes ie plonking it into your site in one area then your server needs to be able to follow htaccess directions (find out from your host)

Takes this and converts it to this. There are currently 2 versions of this script – one for a webpage display – see it here – this one displays ALL the products in the feed. The second one is one for a sidebar display and I’ve limited it to 4 products only (you can change this if you want) – see it here.
